Is your Water Heater on its Last Legs?

Your water heater cranks along for years and years virtually unnoticed.  It is truly an efficient piece of machinery that we rarely think about.  We should have it checked yearly in case you forgot or simply did not know that.  At the decade mark it starts to become time to consider replacing it altogether.

Here are some of the signs that your water heater is about to “give up the ghost” –
1.  Very simply, age.  You can determine that by checking the serial number.
2.  The water is rusty.
3.  Noise.  Suddenly your water heater sounds like a semi-truck.
4.  The dreaded pool of water forming beneath the unit.

Don’t panic, but do take action!  If you live in Morton, East Peoria, Pekin, and the surrounding Central Illinois area call Dave Bailey.  He is the owner of Dave Bailey Plumbing.  As the area water heater repair and replacement expert he and his team will come to your home and get you back up and running.  Don’t forget that phone number (309) 265-6788.
